USTC Boston Alumni Association is to host another Biotech Seminar for all who are interested in the newest development of pharmaceuticals and related innovation and entrepreneurship!
In a few decades, biotechnology has established itself as a business with huge promise for the 21st century. It has demonstrated with an extraordinarily rapid growth rate, combined with great capacity to innovate. Boston, as a biotech hub, has a variety of small start-ups, large established pharmaceuticals, incubators sites, and many large biotech-focused research institutions.
In this seminar, we are honored to introduce to you: Dr. Richard Wang (7808), CEO of Fosun Kite Biotechnology focusing on development and commercialization of CAR-T and other T-cell therapies for the treatment and cure of cancer patients. Dr. Howard Li (8008), President and COO of SanovaBio, a Boston biotech startup company focusing on research and development of aesthetic and cosmeceuticle products with nearly 20 years successful career in Novartis. Dr. Jinshan Shen (8704/8712), a 19-year veteran in biotech and pharmaceutical companies with broad experience in supporting new drug discovery and development, and he is currently a Global Early Development Lead at EMD Serono.
The event will be held at 1pm Sep 9, 2017, Egan 306, 360 Huntington Ave, Boston, 02115 (map below). The nearest T stops are Ruggles Station (Orange line) and Northeastern Station (Green Line). There are parking meters near the place.
